Summer Bank Holiday means changes to payment dates

The Summer Bank Holiday in August 2023 means that benefit payment dates have been moved. Anyone who is expecting to receive their money on Monday 28th will instead be paid one working day earlier. This change applied to anyone expecting to receive the following from the DWP in August: 

● Universal credit 

● State pension 

● Pension credit 

● Disability living allowance 

● Personal independence payment 

● Attendance allowance 

● Carer’s allowance 

● Employment support allowance 

● Income support 

● Jobseeker’s allowance
