How to get started in volunteering
Knowing where to start or get involved with volunteering can sometimes be difficult. There are many opportunities for you to offer your time and skills to help people in the community. Volunteering does not have to be limited, organisations can help communities by offering their skills and knowledge to support smaller voluntary organisations and charities.

volunteering – citizen coin
Citizen Coin rewards residents for doing things to help others by volunteering or getting involved in civic activities to make Bradford a great place for everyone.
Join the scheme (via a mobile app) and receive free digital coins to get you started. The coins can then be exchanged for discounts on goods and services at selected stores. The process is simple, once you’re registered with a Bradford Coin account, simply browse the activities offered by partner organisations and find an activity to suit you.
After you sign up and complete the activity, the organisation will reward you in Bradford Coin – giving you a chance to get out of the house, go somewhere warm and spend it. Good for your wellbeing, and your budget!
