With Spring half-term fast approaching, Bradford District Credit Union are launching the ‘Spring Back to School Loan’.
Funded by the West Yorkshire Mayor’s Cost of Living Support Fund, the loan aims to bring financial relief to those in need of a school uniform refresh during the half term. It will be available across Bradford, Kirklees and Craven with a £10 saving starter.
Numbers are limited so people need to apply quickly. The initiative is only available until 18th February.
The £200 emergency loan is especially for low-income families and individuals who face financial challenges and may be tempted to go to a loan shark. The loan is unique, offering those with poor credit scores the opportunity to save while you borrow with a £10 credit boost plus save as you repay, a good way to build credit scores, and no fees or unexpected charges.
The application process is inclusive and empathetic, considering various financial backgrounds. Once approved, funds are available quickly, often the same day. Applications are subject to affordability checks.
