Working parents in England applying for funded childcare for September need to apply by 31st August for:

• 15 hours childcare for their child aged 9 months old until they turn 3 years old
• 30 hours childcare for their 3 or 4 year old

Parents should visit gov.uk to get their code for a place in September and then share it with their childcare provider. Parents are encouraged to speak to their provider to find out more about their arrangements.

The code will need to be renewed every three months through their Gov childcare account to continue to receive the government funding.

Please note: some childcare providers may charge parents a top-up fee to cover consumables such as food, nappies and wipes.
