Freebies for expectant mums

When you are pregnant, you can be bombarded with lists of things you ‘need’ for yourself and your baby, and it can soon get very expensive. However, there are lots of companies which provide freebies for expectant and new mums, including goodie bags, nappies, wipes, shampoo and conditioner, and more.

We’ve rounded up some of the places you can get freebies and what you can get:

  • Emma’s Diary: they offer a range of packs, including
    • Mum to Be, from early pregnancy, includes things like pantyliners, Sudocrem, stretch mark lotion, pregnancy vitamins and information leaflets
    • Bump to Baby, from week 27 of pregnancy, includes a full pack of Pampers nappies, Weleda cream, Milton sterilising tablets, Fairy POD and softener, money off coupons for a range of products, and information leaflets
    • New Family Pack, after birth, includes skin lotions, food charts, and a range of vouchers and discount codes

To get the Emma’s Diary packs, register on the website or on the app, from there you can access the vouchers (either print them or show on your phone) and collect the packs from your nearest Argos or Boots. They also run a Baby Club which has even more great offers including discounts on car seats, travel systems and nursery furniture when you sign up.

  • Boots Parenting Club offers a range of freebies for expectant mums or parents of children under 5. When you sign up, you get:
    • A free Aveeno product
    • 15% off Boots disposable breast pads
    • 8 Boots Advantage points per £1 spent on baby products
    • Access to Boots Parenting Club expert advice
    • Free gifts at key stages of your baby’s development
    • Parenting Club offers via the app

Sign up on the Boots website, download the app and register for a Boots Advantage Card (all free). You can claim the freebies from the Boots store once the vouchers load in your app.

  • Pampers Club offer freebies for anybody who is pregnant or has children in nappies. You receive:
    • A downloadable pregnancy guide
    • A voucher for free Ninjamas pyjama pants
    • A voucher for free Poonami Proof Pants, essential pack
    • Access to reward points on purchases of Pampers nappies and wipes, which you can use to claim discounts and offers on other products

You can access the Pampers Club by signing up on the website, to get reward points you will need to download the Pampers Club app. Request the vouchers in the app, and you can then redeem at Asda or Sainsbury’s.

  • Beaming Baby nappy packs, these are aimed at parents of babies (or expectant parents) who use disposable nappies but are looking for a more eco-conscious option – and you can order two packs! In the trial packs you can get:
